If you're a TV only (previously Blinkbox) customer, we're making important changes for your TV service in the coming months. As part of our commitment to be the best value TV provider, we've made the decision to move your tv service over to Rakuten TV.
We don’t want you to miss out on all the great ways that you could be watching the latest films and TV shows. After transferring your account to our friends at Rakuten TV you will benefit from a more complete experience.
Rakuten is able to support more devices, plus you'll have the option to purchase titles in higher quality on a range of devices.
I already have a Rakuten TV account - what will happen to my libraries?
If you already have a Rakuten account and you are using the same email address as the TalkTalk TV Store then your libraries will be merged, this will happen no later than 31st July and we will communicate this with you via email.
If you have a Rakuten account and your email addresses are not the same then you can change your email address on your TalkTalk TV store account to align with your Rakuten account email address. You will need to do this as soon as possible before July. Alternatively, you can leave and we will create a new account for you at Rakuten.
When will we be able to purchase on the RakutenTV website?
We will be in touch soon via e-mail detailing how you can log in to Rakuten and start purchases. You will receive an email no later than 30th June.
When will the move be completed?
We will be in touch soon via e-mail providing details of this. This switch should be completed no later than 31st July.
